Grant Partners of the STAR-Ghana Anti-Corruption Call (Grant Partners) have dialogued with members of the Ghana Chapter of African Parliamentarians Network Against Corruption (APNAC). The engagement which took place at Tomreik Hotel in Accra from 27th -29th June 2018, explored linkages between Anti-Corruption Call Partners’ (Civil Society Organisations) work and Parliament (APNAC).

This was at a three-day (3) capacity building event organised by STAR-Ghana for its Anti-Corruption Call partners. The event, which was informed by a rapid capacity assessment survey conducted among the Anti-Corruption Call Grant Partners in April provided minimum programme capacity to partners, and clarified in very practical terms, the ways for practicalizing Political Economy analysis.
Other areas of empowerment included but not limited to: the review of a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) assessment tool, which was subsequently applied in the assessment of Grant partners’ respective projects and organisational make-up.

Again, Grant Partners reviewed Monitoring and Evaluation tools for effective monitoring and evaluation of their respective projects. The gathering also afforded the Communications and Learning Team of STAR-Ghana, the opportunity to share some tit bits on Grant Partners’ approach to developing stories of change and Learning.

The event was facilitated by the STAR-Ghana Programme Management Team and funded by the UKAid, EU and DANIDA.
