STAR-Ghana Foundation in partnership with Africa Education Watch and Songtaba organised three (3) zonal dialogues to engage stakeholders on the implementation of Re-entry policy for pregnant girls at the district levels. The dialogues was held in Mankessim in the Central region, Upper Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern region and Tamale in the Northern region.
The purpose of the dialogues is to enhance multi-stakeholder action and coordination on the implementation of the Ghana Education Service (GES) re-entry policy to secure access to education for teenage mothers.
Participants at the dialogue included the Regional and District Girls Education Unit of Ghana Education Service (GES), Non Governmental Organizations, Religious Bodies, Traditional Leaders, the media and the Parents Teachers Associations.
