Over the past two months,1,500 beneficiaries of economic skills training under our Building Resilience Against Violent Extremism (BRAVE II) project have been sharpening their skills across diverse trades through hands-on training led by dedicated trainers.Beyond the training sessions, beneficiaries have transitioned into active production and sales of their products. The range of products include smock fabrics, various soap types, parboiled rice, leather goods, among others. Trainees under service-oriented trades including masonry and plumbing have equally began rendering services in their communities.
The shift from skills acquisition to enterprise reflects sustainable livelihood creation, strengthened community resilience, and tangible progress against violent extremism. Each product sold and each service rendered is evidence that donor investment is translating into dignity, independence, and more cohesive communities.
