Owusuwaa Owusu-Brempong
Project Officer
Owusuwaa Owusu-Brempong is a Projects Officer at STAR-Ghana Foundation with over five years of experience in youth empowerment, civic participation, gender equality, and governance programming. She coordinates partnerships with youth groups, civil society organisations, and local government authorities to strengthen youth inclusion in governance and improve access to public services through the Action for Youth Development (AfYD) Project with funding from Fondation Botnar.
Owusuwaa has strong expertise in project implementation, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and learning documentation, and contributes to resource mobilisation efforts. She also has experience lecturing at tertiary level, supporting teaching and mentoring of students.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Gender Studies from the University of Iceland, an MA in Governance, Development and Public Policy from the University of Sussex, and a BA in Social Work with Sociology from the University of Ghana.
