Dr. Mary Sabbah
Head of Finance and Operations
She serves as principal finance advisor to the Governing Council and its Finance & Audit Committee, and oversees financial reporting, audit and compliance across the Foundation’s multi-donor portfolio.
Before joining STAR-Ghana, Mary held finance leadership roles on USAID Projects, EU Funded Projects and the STAR-Ghana Programme. Her consultancy work includes serving as Finance Expert, Team Lead on the EU-assignments, including GESP, MAV+ Programme, advising the World Health Organization, the EU Delegation to Ghana, the National Vaccines Institute and the Food and Drugs Authority on vaccine manufacturing financing and financial governance.
Mary holds a Doctor of Business Leadership and a Master of Applied Business Research from Swiss Business School, an MBA in Accounting & Taxation from GIMPA, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. She is a published researcher on transformational leadership and business continuity management.
