Emmanuel Dedoo
Emmanuel Dedoo is the Finance Assistant at STAR-Ghana. He supports the Head of Finance by inputting financial data in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. He prepares financial documentations including cheques, petty cash reimbursement, advances and all staff floats. He ensures efficient and accurate cash and bank books are maintained and monthly accounts and returns are produced and submitted to Christian Aid UK in a timely manner.
He also extracts reports from the financial and administrative systems to review the status of budget and the adherence to Christian Aid and donor financial policies and procedures. He is responsible for the preparing and paying of monthly Salaries, Social Security Fund Contribution (SSF), Pay as you earn (PAYE) and all other statutory payments.
Emmanuel is currently undertaking a Master’s Degree program in Development Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from the Central University. He also holds an academic certificate in E-Technology Computing (Web Programming) from NIIT.
Emmanuel brings to the STAR-Ghana Team his reach experience from the corporate world in financial management and Auditing and in the Development sectors his experience from Christian Aid Ghana.

Elizabeth Chemel
Elizabeth Chemel holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from University of Ghana Business School. She was the Finance Officer from September 2010 to December 2016 for Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG). During her time at PPAG she was responsible for providing support to the smooth running of financial processing and played a critical role in the delivery of financial controls and maintenance of high standards in the finance department.
As the Finance Officer of STAR-Ghana, she provides support to the Head of Finance by inputting financial data and processing transactions in an efficient, accurate & timely manner. Also, she assist in the smooth running of financial processing and provide advice on financial policies and procedures to staff and support the maintenance of all financial records. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music and honey extraction.
